10 sessions – Connections

Most days are go-go-go, and even if we use exercise as a way to “relax”, we still create stimulation in our nervous system.  Taking moments every day to connect with our breath is the quickest and most immediate way we can guide our nervous system from the active, “fight-flight-freeze response (our sympathetic nervous system) towards the calmer “rest and digest” response of out parasympathetic nervous system.

I am pleased to offer a 10 week tour exploring the connection of slow, mindful movements and deep, intentional breathwork.

These 10 sessions will be centered around a posture-based Hatha (“slow flow and hold”) practice, with a focus on the breath and leaning into the found space. We will progress through our asanas (poses) using fundamental building blocks to enable a deeper consideration of the postures; while respecting our own abilities; and connecting our movements to a breath-connected sequence. We will end each session with a mindful practice and a deep, relaxing savasana to integrate the changes in your body.

I will offer many modifications for the poses, making it available to all body shapes, sizes and yoga abilities.

~75 minute Yoga class, STARTING AUGUST 7

~We will be gathering in a large space with maximum 10 participants

5 sessions – Strong Foundations


DATES: April 24; May 8; May15; May 22; June 6

These 5 sessions will be centered around a Hatha style (“slow flow and hold”) practice, focusing on posture and joint flexibility. We will progress through our asanas (poses) using fundamental building blocks to enable exploration of the postures correctly, safely and to your own ability before bringing it all together into a breath-connected sequence. We will end each session with a mindful practice and a deep, relaxing savasana to integrate the changes in your body.
